Civil Engineer, Architect, and specialist in Urban Transportation Management by Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He holds a master's and a doctorate in Transportation Engineering by University of São Paulo (USP), in the areas of: design and construction of transportation routes, and spatial information, respectively. He is a specialist in Pedagogical Computer Applications by Catholic University of Salvador (UCSal). He did post-doctoral studies at the Univesità Politecnica dela Marche (UNIVPM) in Italy and at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. He is a full professor at the Architecture School of UFBA, with interest in digital technologies applied to the following areas: urban planning and infrastructure, CAD, BIM, CIM, smart cities, and architectural documentation.
