Effimia is a research architect from Thessaloniki, Greece and co-founder of Faberarium Workshops: Fabrication Technologies for Architecture. She has graduated from the Architectural school, Faculty of Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed the MSc in Biodigital Architecture and phD at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. She has organized more than 20 exhibitions and international studios and workshops. She is member of the Genetic Architectures Research Group and Office, and has been collaborate professor in the International Master in Biodigital Architecture, within the Institute for Biodigital Architecture and Genetics (iBAG, UIC, Barcelona).
