Hussein is an architect with over 14 years of experience in academia and professional practice, and a lecturer at the Architectural Engineering Department, Zagazig University, Egypt. He got his BSc and MSc degrees from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2007 and 2012 accordingly and got a PhD in 2020 from Liverpool school of architecture (LSA), UK. He is interested in 3D visualisation, CAAD, building technology, transformable architecture, computational and parametric design, conceptual structural design and optimisation, digital fabrication, and BIM. He participated in many academic roles in Egypt and LSA and has published work in conferences such as eCAADe. Besides, he has excellent professional experience and worked as a part-time architect and CG artist for many architectural design firms
